If you or someone you know needs assistance finding food support in your area, visit FeedingAmerica.org — a national resource dedicated to connecting individuals and families with local food banks.
As Good Neighbors, we’re called to care for those who may not be able to care for themselves. This November — and possibly into December — Zion City of Praise will host a Dry and Non-Perishable Food Drive to support local churches and families affected by the government shutdown and loss of benefits.
Each Sunday features a color theme to guide our giving, and members are encouraged to also bring weekly staples such as rice, grains, peanut butter, or canned proteins to help families create complete meals.
At Zion City of Praise, we are a community grounded in faith, love, and service. Our mission is to glorify God, uplift His people, and share the transformative power of Jesus Christ with the world. We believe in fostering a space where everyone feels welcome and valued, no matter where they are on their spiritual journey.
This holiday season, our theme is “You Can’t Beat God Giving.”
What a powerful reminder that nothing could stop God from giving His ALL, His BEST, and His ONLY, not even our sin. Out of pure and perfect love, God gave us Jesus, the Greatest gift the world has ever received. In Him, we have Hope for tomorrow, Peace that passes all understanding, Joy unspeakable, and Love everlasting.
Scripture Focus: John 3:16-17 (NRSV)
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”
We kicked off the year with the first of four 90-day devotionals, starting with the powerful Jesus With Us. Now, we invite you to continue the journey with our next devotional:
Jesus In Us by Shane Stanford
📅 October 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025
Books will be available at the church “Pop-Up” Bookstore or you can grab your own copy at any local Christian bookstore or online retailer.
Let’s grow together as we discover how Jesus is not only with us—but among us, working in our daily lives.
